Dr Ajay Kirtane is Director of the Columbia Interventional Cardiovascular Care Program and Professor of Medicine at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center, New York, US. He is an internationally-renowned leader in the field of interventional cardiology, with a particular focus on providing exceptional care to patients with complex coronary and peripheral vascular disease. Dr Kirtane’s research interests are in clinical trial methodology and outcomes of device-based and pharmacologic interventions in interventional cardiology.
